We require potential members to join for a 3 month trial period. This allows you to get to know us, allows us to see if your training expecations and/or style is consistent with ours and most importantly allows you to get a good idea of what training a dog in schutzhund is all about. A guest membership is $30.

Once you have completed the trial membership, if you are still interested in training, the club will vote on your membership request. If approved, you will need to fill in a regular membership application. Regular membership is $60. Membership dues are payable on March 1st. For new members, that have completed the 3 month guest membership period, the yearly membership dues will be pro-rated.

Membership dues for Maine Schutzhund Club do not include the yearly dues required by Schutzhund USA. We are a USA member and our members are required to maintain their membership with USA. Please see USA's website for their membership information and don't forget to order a rule book.
